Jaden had a bad dream last night & came into our room. When I asked him about it this morning he said, " it was scary and bad, like it would have been PG if it was a movie."

Dad turns 60!

Such a fun night. Taking time to celebrate 60 years of an amazing man. Our very own room at the Arad Evans Inn. Good food, good times, Ailia making us dance, strawberry rhubarb pie, a laptop, funny faces, and Yankees tickets!

Mother's Day Tea

Such a fun morning with the Jaden's kindergarten class as they put on a Mother's Day Tea. They sang songs, recited poems, and put on a spectacular performance! There were gifts (a plant in a painted pot, a hand-stamped napkin, and a card), delicious cupcakes and the cutest 5 & 6 year olds around.

After Dad came down to spend the afternoon and go to church with us, Ailia "read" the book she had made in Sunday School. She insisted upon wearing Papa's glasses to do so!

Papa

You have to love a papa who can: 1. Block shots from a six year old 2. Pretend to dunk 3. Let his grandson make a basket 4. Still sink a mean hook shot and 5. Know the importance of spending the afternoon shooting hoops with a boy who is learning how to be a man and investing in the next generation (even if he'd rather be napping...)
