More Snow Fun

Today was the Perfect snow for making a snowman. Cranberries for his eyes and mouth, carrot for his nose, and grapes for his buttons! Jaden said as he was going to bed tonight, "we should have brought in the hat and scarf, 'cause don't you know a skunk or a squirrel might want to take them." (So, if you see a skunk or squirrel wearing a hat and mittens, you'll know where thy came from!)

Snow Boarding

Jaden trying his skills on a snowboard.
(PS: The person behind him in the video is the best pre-school teacher in the world - Mrs. Becky!)

Counting

As I record some of her silly antics Ailia is supposed to be taking a nap (and I am supposed to preparing for work tonight) but she is doing everything but sleeping and keeps yelling, "Can't sleep Mom, my animals (in her crib) are counting their ABC's."
"Done sleepin Mom"
I want to laugh, but I need her to take a nap!

Bye Mom

Today while playing Ailia put on Jaden's AWANA vest, put her babies in the stroller, and said, "Bye mom, I'm takin my babies to "bible study."

I'll run in

On our way to pick up Jaden from AWANA last night Ailia announced,
"Mom you wait in the van, I'll run in." This made me chuckle and I said, "Oh, you'll run in and get him?" She was quiet for a moment and then said,
"Mom, you open my door."
Guess she realized getting out of the carseat and opening the door might prove to be a slight problem... I could almost picture her toddling into church by herself with her coat and boots on yelling, "Jaden? Jaden?"

2 Choices

It is always a little hectic getting out the door in the morning for pre-school. Yesterday Jaden was "almost" ready but I had asked him to put his socks on 3 times and he was continuing to play with his "guys." I looked at him sternly and said,
"Jaden, what did I ask you to do?"
at which point Ailia got right up in his face and said,
"Jaden, you have two choices!"
Of course this made us all laugh and turned a potential ugly moment into a funny one.

Heaven

"Mom I think we're going to be happy in heaven 162 times!"

Pray

Jaden: (after hearing me pray that God would help change his heart)
"Mom, don't I seem pretty good to you?"
"Absolutely."
"Why would you want Him to change me to bad then?"

Babies

Jaden: "Mom, Can you believe Beth has three babies?
You only have two and they bug you so much!"

Funny People

I just ran across a quote from Jaden last September at 3 y/o ~ He had recently started a new class and had a new "stern" teacher at church.
"Jaden, how was your class today?"
"My teacher doesn't like funny people."
