Shining Light

What a light this one is to our family!

Best Bama

This seriously must be one of the best bama's in the whole world. She can not go more than a week without seeing her grand children (or more than a few days without talking to them!). She is always up for an adventure, or a game, or a project with them. On this day she was raking and jumping in the leaves! She will steal them away at a moment's notice and they know that she loves them by all the time she wants to spend with them. They are so blessed to have her (and I'm super-blessed to have her for my mama!) and I am so thankful that she loves them as much as she does and gives to them like she does.

Eat them

Couldn't you just eat these two up?!

Birthday

Jaden: "Mom, I know Christmas is Jesus' birthday, but when is God's birthday?"

Sunday, November 15, 2009

I go to prepare a place for you.

Jaden: "Mom, don't you think it's strange that God's not done with our house yet?"

Donkey

Jaden: "Mom, I don't think I'd very much like to have chickens in our backyard."
Pause
"A donkey would be OK though."

Jesus

When I picked up Ailia from the nursery today, I asked her,
"who was in your class today?"
"Lia" (herself)
"Ailia? Who else?"
"Emma"
"Emma was in your class today? Who else?"

"Jesus!"

Kazoo

Quote from Jaden: "You never know when you might need a kazoo."

Snoozer Fish

Jaden: "If Daddy were a fish, he'd be a snoozer fish."

Halloween

Batman

Little Ladybug

Halloween was so much fun this year. The kids really enjoyed dressing up and wearing their costumes. We visited the fire department, and Papa and Bama B's. They especially liked trick or treating at our neighbors houses for candy!

Naughty Squirrels

We had a bit of an issue this year with the squirrels eating the pumpkins. Everytime Ailia would see the pumpkins she would give us an update. "Squirrels eating pumpkins. Naughty Squirrels!" Guess she thought it would be worth trying for herself! "Ailia eating pumpkins Mommy!"

New skill

I think it is really important to document achievements and milestones. As you can see Jaden has learned a new skill.

Crib

When I went to get her from nap today she was completely naked and saying "jump, jump!" while jumping like a crazy girl all over her crib. I guess she's better!

Superheroes

The new favorite game for these two is dress up.
They put on costumes and go on adventures.
Jaden leads the way with his trusty sidekick right beside him.
He always gives Ailia a "tool"of some sort to carry - on this particular day it was a huge magnet.
Never a dull moment. And really?
Who doesn't feel safer with superhero's living in their house?

Crazy Train

A friend of ours loaned us their Geo-track to add to ours. Jaden had so much fun building the ultimate railroad.
